Tradition ground burial is still the most popular option that families choose. We offer 22 distinct gardens within the Memorial Park. All of the gardens offer flat bronze memorialization with an optional flower vase.

For families who prefer a traditional upright monument, we offer that as an option in the Garden of Light as well as the Dr. Ball Garden (named after Dr. Robert P. Ball, Memorial Park founder).

Mausoleum entombment was once thought to only be available to wealthy families, but the advent of community mausoleums has made mausoleum entombment available to all. Depending on what you select, mausoleum entombment is very comparable in price to traditional ground burial, and sometimes even less costly because you won't need to purchase an outer burial container or a separate memorial marker.

Private Estate Mausoleums are custom made to meet your family’s needs and preferences. They can be built to accommodate one person or several generations. For a couple, prices start out at about what one would expect to pay for a well equipped new car.

Walk-in style mausoleums come with heavy bronze doors and keys for your family to enter the building and beautifully polished interiors. They can even be made to accommodate furniture for comfort when visiting . These types of structures start in the price vicinity of what one might expect to pay when purchasing a home. If you can dream it, we can build it.

Private Hedge Garden Estates are a new option available to families at the Memorial Park. They are custom built to the number of ground burial spaces that a family prefers. After your family selects the area where you would prefer for us to construct your Private Hedge Garden Estate, we plant shrubbery around the edges of the location and install your family's choice of upright monument at the back. The family monument would typically have only the last name of the family, but we can customize the monument to make it exactly as you desire. Later, as the spaces are used by the members of your family that you select, a foot stone may be placed to honor the particular individual.

Cremation Benches

Cremation Benches are benches carved out of solid granite which are able to permanently hold the ashes of up to four family members. They come in a variety of shapes, styles, and granite colors and are fully customizable with words, pictures, and emblems.

Private Estate Colombaria

Private Estate Columbaria have become a popular option for families who have chosen cremation. They tell us that they like the idea of having a solid granite structure standing upright and the similarity to the large private mausoleum in the cemetery. Most commonly composed of two to four niches, each person receives their own separate place within the structure with plenty of space to tell the story of a life.

Pillars

Pillars come in a variety of designs and are granite columns with a cylindrical chamber inside for holding cremated remains. The opening is typically sealed with a bronze or granite plate and carving can be added to accentuate and memorialize with names, dates, and emblems.

Cremation Pedestals

Cremation Pedestals are one of our newest options. The ashes of up to four family members can be placed inside the granite pedestal, and the top can be precision carved into nearly anything imaginable.

Cremation Boulders are a natural, rugged, and beautiful way to pay tribute and provide a place of rest for a loved one who has been cremated.

The boulders are naturally occurring granite, and no two are alike. Cylindrical holes are cut into the granite allowing ashes to be placed inside. An urn is not necessary as the boulder serves in its place. The openings are sealed with a bronze plate which is cast with names, dates, and emblems.

Remembrance Ground

Sunset Pointe is a community columbarium comprised of 72 individual niches with each holding the cremated remains of one person. The building is constructed entirely of granite with the body of the building in grey, the fronts in black and each niche accentuated by a bronze plate with personal information and epitaphs.

The Garden of Remembrance is our cremation garden where all of the options shown in this brochure are available. One section of the garden contains cremation sized ground burial spaces which accommodate up to two sets of cremated remains. Names, dates, and words of endearment are then inscribed on a flat granite memorial and completed with an attached flower vase.

This page has been produced in order to raise awareness of all of the options which are available at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The options shown are for style reference and are not to scale. Please see office for dimensions of items and current availability. Manufacturers and item styles may change over time as we endeavor to make the best possible options available to the community.

Oak Ridge Memorial Park consists of 120 acres, 60 acres of which has been developed and sectioned into individual gardens with their own unique overall theme, look, and feel. Cremated remains may be placed in more traditional burial spaces, which are available in abundance, in either a garden which utilizes flat bronze memorials or one which allows traditional upright monuments.
